Giving Tuesday

Saving More Lives in 2026!

What a year it's been!

As we wind down from the busy Thanksgiving week, we at the Rescue Coop are thinking a lot about how very much we have to be grateful for this year.  Let's start with the the best part: to date, the Rescue Coop has saved 515 dogs from high kill shelters, imminent euthanasia, hoarding and neglect, among them many with serious health conditions and well, you know how we feel about seniors. ❤️ We are full of gratitude to the community that empowers this work: from our donors to our X friends to our foster and forever families, as well as some volunteer transporters and pilots that pitch in to get our pups out of harm’s way and home to the next chapter.  It's amazing the impact we can make together.

This Thanksgiving week we saved two special girls needing medical care from severe neglect, one so emaciated she needed ER care and a blood transfusion. As hard as it is to see them in such horrid condition, we know from the past that a wonderful family and their healing love will have these ladies on a path to health and happiness soon, just like so many down-and-out pups before them. Like some of these sweet angels who found their homes this year.

If you find yourself with a little extra to spare this holiday season, please consider donating to our Giving Tuesday fund to help these deserving dogs + many more find their happy homes in 2026.

Thank you for your tremendous generosity and Happy Holler-days from the Rescue Coop!
