Pals, Hank needs our help.
This Very Good Boy spent quite some time in a crowded shelter waiting for his chance. Then his number got called and Lola + her mom sprung him out of that horrible place! He was just getting healthy, with all his shots and his neuter surgery, when a family said “we think he’d make our family complete!”
Off Hank went on a looooong car ride to a place where it’s very cold! He was stressed from the car ride (who can blame the guy?) and a little overwhelmed, and his new family forgot the first rule of rescuing: slow, gentle introductions. Well, by nobody’s fault, our guy Hank got a little overstimulated and made … a less than desirable first impression. :o( For everyone’s safety, Hank got back in the van and make the long trip home.
It was all so fast and scary. And a guy can get a reputation! And we really don’t want Hank to carry this crummy history with him going forward so we thought: let’s use our awesome community to help us find a great place for Hank to get some socialization training, and make 1000% sure that Hank is never in that lousy situation again.
Even though we just know Hank is going to make a family so lucky, we are investing big in this guy’s education. Which is why Hank will be heading into a 5-week professional immersive training program with the amazing Ferry Good Dog Training Program in SC. And it costs almost as much as college, but we know he’s going to do us proud.
So if you have a little extra change in your pocket and want to help ensure Hank has all the tools to knock it out of the park in his next home, we and Hank will surely appreciate it. <3
Because Hank matters.
