Misty
My name is Misty and I was found stray in horrible condition! I was neglected for a long time. I’m believed to be about 10 years old and weigh 38 lbs.
Despite my condition, I’m a very sweet, spunky senior girl who would make a wonderful companion! I’m getting up to date on my vet care, treated for heartworm, microchipped, vaccinated and even getting a dental! I’m having a few small lumps removed too but nothing to worry about and I should be ready for a home soon!
Anyone have room for a friendly, still gently playful, affectionate and super sweet senior? My adoption fee is half sponsored for July!

Bella
My name is Bella!
I’m about 5 years old and weigh about 38 lbs. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in TX, survived pneumonia last fall and am now healthy and hoping to find my person! I’m crate trained and mostly potty trained too!
My ideal home would be relatively calm and quiet with an adult looking for a companion. I’m a pup who likes people but can be a bit fearful and react to other pups if they come at me. For the most part I ignore them and mind my own business and my person will need to work with me on continued training. Maybe you have a fenced yard and no other pups and just want a sweet girl to cuddle with who will alert you to strangers? I’m quiet, calm, loving, and low to medium energy. I just need a person of my own!
My adoption fee is sponsored for the right home.

Poppi
My name is Poppi!
My story brings most to tears.
I was hurt & stray & found shelter under a trailer hoping the people inside would get help for me. They saw me but ignored me for a month before finally calling animal control. By the time I was rescued, I was almost gone, too weak to even stand.
But I was rescued!
I’m believed to be about 2 years old and weigh 33 lbs. I don’t have many teeth and my tail was broken. At some point I was likely hit by a car, crushing my pelvis in several spots, resulting in a limp and uneven gait. I can walk for short time periods and potty on my own! I’m being treated for skin mites and heartworm but the rescue is posting me as special needs due to my uneven walk and mobility issues.
I hope this doesn’t scare you away! Even after being the victim of extreme apathy and cruelty, I’m a sweet, happy girl whose tail tries to wag for pets and attention. I would blossom with just a little love and kindness!

Penny
My name is Penny!
I was found injured and stray protecting my 9 puppies in a burned down abandoned structure. It’s believed I was hit by a car finding food. I have a fractured leg & a bad heart making me a hospice pup. My puppies have found homes and it’s my greatest dream to have my very own forever home even if my forever is shorter than most.
I’m a very calm, quiet and extremely sweet girl. I’m potty trained and loved snoozing and sun beaming! Want to take a walk? Not me! I’ll probably roll on my back and wiggle in the grass! Basically I’m one of the easiest pups you’d probably ever care for because I ask for so little.
Is it asking for too much to be part of a family and have a real home for the time I have left?
My adoption fee is sponsored and the rescue will provide my first 3 months of heart meds. -
Alfie
My name is Alfred!
I’m a super cuddly little bear!
I’m about 5 yo, 60 lbs and a hugging machine who will look at you like you hung the moon!
I was rescued stray in very poor shape. In fact my bloodwork was so bad they thought I was hospice! I turned things around & my numbers are now almost in range & will just need 6 month monitoring. I lost my eye but they say that just gives me more swagger!
I’m a sweet, happy boy with a Newfie attitude! I can be a little stubborn, a lot affectionate & extra super cute when it’s Alfie cuddle time! I’m a low to medium energy boy who loves short walks and laying in the sunshine! I’ll also be your big cuddle bear watching your favorite show or chilling at the end of the day! I’m also pretty potty trained, love treats & would make a super companion! -
Krypto
My name is Krypto!
Let's just be honest I had an awful terrible start to life.
I was starved, abused and neglected.
I was rescued weighing 33 lbs, less than half of what I should weigh with chemical burns covering my legs and paws.
I had a lame front leg that needed to be amputated.
I'm being treated for heartworm and getting medicated baths for my skin.
I was confiscated for cruelty so someone did this on purpose to me.
Despite this I am the sweetest boy who just wants a lap to lay my head in.
My tail wags when I see people.
I still trust and I still love.
I just need someone now who loves me back.
Will you be my super hero? -
Trey
My name is Trey!
I'm 11 years old and I've never had my own home.
I was rescued with two puppy siblings in a box by the roadside.
One of my siblings passed away and the other was adopted.
That was 11 years ago. I just had my birthday and I've spent the last 11 years living at the vet's office. They are asking the rescue to help me find my very own home because they think I deserve comfy couches and beds in my senior years.
I'm 67 lbs with a beautiful brindle coat. I'm up to date on all vet care, just had a dental, neutered and microchipped.
I'm pup and kitty friendly and even have been the resident pup tester because of my calm and cool nature.
I will need to learn to live in a home since the vet's office is all I've ever known but I am a lower/medium energy couch potato and my biggest dream is to have my own person to cuddle up with!
